Delete your esigner account

In the app

Sign in, open Account → Profile, and under Privacy and data choose Delete my account. Confirm.

On the website

Sign in on your country's website (the Account column below), open your profile, and under Privacy and data choose Delete my account.

By email

If you can no longer sign in, write to the support address of your country's website, or to hei@esigner.no, from the address on your account and say which country's website the account is on. We confirm by email when it is done.

Deleting documents without deleting the account

You can also delete single documents and keep your account: open your documents under Account, pick one and choose Delete. It is deleted at once and for good. A document still out for signing can be deleted once the signing is finished or cancelled. Under Account → Profile → Privacy and data you can download a copy of everything we hold about you.

What happens

The account is deleted 30 days after you ask, and you can cancel at any time during those days. Automatic renewal of your subscriptions is switched off at once.

Then your profile, sign-in methods, document archive, devices registered for notifications and settings are deleted, your subscriptions end, and companies where you are the only user are removed.

What we keep

Accounting law requires us to keep records of purchases (amount, VAT and date) for the statutory period, which we do in anonymised form without a link to you. Signed documents remain with the people who received them. An unused prepaid balance must be spent or refunded before the account can be deleted.
